INGREDIENTS
Sugar: 105 g (1/2 cup)
Ground cinnamon: 10 g (1 tsp)
All-purpose flour: 115 g (3/4 cup)
Cornstarch: 2 tbsp
Milk: 180 ml (3/4 cup)
Apples: 4
Vegetable oil: 100 ml, for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat vegetable oil in a deep-sided frying pan.
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and milk to create a smooth batter. Set aside.
In a separate plate, mix sugar and cinnamon.
Peel and core the apples. Cut them into desired thickness slices.
Dip apple slices into the batter and place them directly into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
Once fried and drained, coat the apple slices in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
